DIVE THE BAHAMAS

SAN SALVADOR ISLAND
January 18 – 25, 2025

$2,250 per person/double occupancy

About the trip:
Join us for a trip diving around San Salvador Island, which sits on a carbonate ledge in the Atlantic Ocean, just outside the Caribbean Sea.  Most reefs start in roughly 40 feet of water, where divers benefit from deep ocean currents bringing in larger species such as turtles, sharks, and other pelagic marine life.  Due to its geographic location, including the underwater topography, warm water, and fantastic visibility, San Salvador Island is considered one of the top five wall-diving destinations in the world, with something for everyone.  In particular, the area is known for the diversity of marine life, including sharks such as the unique scalloped hammerhead, Caribbean reef sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks, and a wide variety of tropical fish.  The trip is based on 16 boat dives with Riding Rock Resort & Marina, dive computers are required.

The Riding Rock Resort & Marina is one of two scenic San Salvador oceanfront resorts.  The William family built the resort in the 1960s and owns and operates it to this day.  The resort is, and always has been, dedicated to the comfort and convenience of scuba divers and other water sports enthusiasts.  All rooms are air-conditioned and offer cable TV, a mini-fridge, a private bathroom, porches or balconies, outside drying hooks, and much more.  The report has a freshwater pool and access to a beautiful sand beach.  As part of catering to water sports enthusiasts, they offer separate beach towels for the pool, beach, and dive boat.

Included: 16 boat dives, 21 meals at the report's restaurant or lounge, on-island airport transfers and taxes, and a cocktail reception.

Not included: Airfare, gratuities, personal purchase, and drinks.
